When my wife and I were expecting our first child, I found myself experiencing new thoughts and emotions. I’m sure this is a common experience for most first-time parents-to-be. I felt inspired lyrically for the first time in years. The words kept flowing for the first couple of years of fatherhood as I observed and processed all the things. Somehow I managed to turn the lyrics into songs and actually record and mix those songs before the birth of my second child.
