Web Development:
Barbeques Galore
E-commerce Website
I was commissioned by Barbeques Galore to create a dynamic e-commerce website to replace their old bloated system.
By starting from scratch instead of adapting an existing system, I was able to deliver a streamlined solution that was tightly integrated with legacy warehouse systems.
Automatic price updates, user-driven content changes and extreme flexibility made their online presence more agile and accurate while still affording many opportunities for marketing. Default product browsing was easily overridden by static html pages when desired.

Product Database
Barbeques Galore's Product Database presents a data-rich view of their retail catalog.
Intended for Intranet use, the Product Database (built with PHP/MySQL) gives corporate users access to disparate data sources in one interface. Users can assign images, edit descriptions, add product features, and view store inventory levels.

Retail Store Intranet
Barbeques Galore operates a chain of retail stores across the continental US. In order to facilitate communications from the corporate office to the retail employees, I developed a set of intranet tools targeted for stores' use.
